The World Remembers Exhibit
Memory is part of what makes us human. On the centenary of the end of the First World War, The History Lab, with the support of Brock’s Department of History, the centre for Canadian Studies, and the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts, invite you to witness and remember the more than one million men and women who died in the last year of the way. From 8a.m. to 8 p.m. every day for 61 days, the names of the war dead from Canada and 15 other nations will be displayed on a screen in the MIW, the final name appearing at 9 p.m. on Nov. 11. The World Remembers is about remembrance, education, and international understanding.
