Our first Fish Fry of the season is scheduled for October 6th and will continue every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month until April ( including Good Friday). It is at our St.Davids Lions Club 1462 York Rd.St.Davids from 4:30-7:00 pm.

Takeout is available and we include coleslaw , fries and bread. Pan fried fish and baked potatoes are available.   All the money raised goes back into our community!

Niagara College is welcoming its largest ever intake of first-year and international students for the fall term, with a full slate of Orientation activities at its Welland and Niagara-on the-Lake Campuses, from September 5 to 8.

With more than 5,000 first-year students arriving at the College in September, including 1,500 postsecondary and ESL international students, its total enrolment is projected to exceed 10,000 this fall.

Artistic Director Tim Carroll and the Shaw Festival reveal the complete playbill for the 2018 season. Having introduced Festival patrons to Two-Way Theatre in 2017, the Shaw Festival will continue to invite the audience into the creative process, giving them a real voice in the theatre experience.
“I have been overwhelmed by the support shown for my first season, with all that was new and risky in it,” says Tim Carroll, Artistic Director. “That has emboldened me to keep trying new things, like Stephen’s epic Greek myths, or our first Shakespeare, or Chekhov as lived through the South Asian diaspora. I’m especially looking forward to seeing three Shaw one-act plays; I think they are among his greatest achievements.”

Priceless is the art auction for YoPros. Bid on art with volunteer hours instead of money! Give back to the community and support the art community at the same time. There will be non-profits at the event so you can learn more about them and see if volunteering with them would be the right fit for you. However, you can complete your hours at any non-profit of your choice. Come out for the bidding or just come for the connections, either way, it will be a great night out!

The 18th annual Fife and Drum Muster and Soldiers' Field Day was celebrated at Fort George August 19-20. The sounds of history echoed through the fort giving the visitors a taste of the past.
