The 4th annual TD Niagara Jazz Festival takes flight this week and the organizers are extremely excited to share the festivities with the Niagara community and the visitors who will be in the region this weekend.

TD Niagara Jazz Festival and Krāv Fine Grill & Bar are offering a little ‘Sass in the City’ this weekend, to herald in the opening of the latest addition to St. Catharines’ gourmet and entertainment scene. And who better to do that than the irrepressible Diva of all sass, Cinnamon Jones, with her earthy, bluesy, and soul-filled mighty arrangements. Together with her band, she will kick off the Krāv "After Dark" Grand Opening this Saturday, July 1.

This Wednesday evening, June 14th, find your way to one of Toronto’s premier jazz venues, The Jazz Bistro, on the corner of Victoria and Dundas, for an evening of world class, star-studded jazz. The Jazz Bistro will host TD Niagara Jazz Festival’s second annual ‘Sneak Peek’ for its 3-day festival in Niagara, running July 28 -30th.

TD Niagara Jazz Festival, 2017’s Best New Festival in Ontario, announced its full line up this week at the Hare Winery Co. in Niagara-on-the-Lake, a perfect blend of expertise, creativity and good fortune. This year’s festival runs from July 28th – July 30th, 2017.

Enjoy a night out with wine, craft beer and light fare while learning about jazz from the seasoned professionals. An extension of the NOTL Library’s Wine & Words series, Wine & Music brings musicians into intimate settings where they can teach the fundamentals of jazz while demonstrating on their instruments. It is a fun and interactive event where the audience can engage with the musician in a setting that is truly definitive of  Niagara.

At the March 2017 conference of Festival and Events Ontario, TD Niagara Jazz Festival was awarded the Best New Festival in Ontario Award for organizations with budgets of $100,000 to $500,000. Festival co-creators Juliet Dunn and Peter Shea proudly accepted the award handed out by the provincial association that recognizes industry festival and events leaders that stood out in the previous festival year. Festivals and events of all kinds from every corner of Ontario were represented in the nominations – from community festivals to internationally recognized events.

The 2015 TD Niagara Jazz Festival celebrated a very successful four days of jazz, wine, culinary events, artisans, and art across Niagara Thursday July 23rd through Sunday July 26th. Now in its second year, the TD Niagara Jazz Festival saw record crowds enjoy Canadian and internationally acclaimed jazz musicians by way of headline concerts, jazz education sessions, wine andculinary packages, jazz performances, artisan markets, and free events throughout Niagara-­‐on-­‐the-­‐Lake and across Niagara.

His extensive resume includes performing on keyboards for the hit Toronto Second City dinner theatre show “Tony and Tina’s Wedding”; touring across Canada with comedian Sean Cullen; performing for a month at the world famous Edinburgh Comedy Festival on both keyboards and drums, including several live performances on BBC Television and Radio; performing on keyboard with the Jersey Boys in Toronto; a cross-Canada tour with the famous Montreal “Just for Laughs” Road Show, including performances at the Pantages and Massey Hall theatres.

In its second year, the TD Niagara Jazz Festival presents the finest Canadian and internationally acclaimed jazz musicians by way of spectacular concerts, wine, craft beer, and culinary packages, and free performances throughout Niagara-on-the-Lake and selected locations throughout Niagara.
